Filming at NOCS Facilities
Permission is required for all commercial filming activity, including photography or video, at any NOCS Facility. The following are general guidelines for such activity. Contact Jim Henderson at 504-944-4400 or jim.henderson@nocs.com for more information or to request permission to film on site.
General Rules
Anyone wishing to film on campus for commercial purposes must submit a detailed description of the proposed project in writing, including:
Locations requested
Date(s) and time(s) of filming
Number of people involved in each day’s activity
Type of activity to be filmed
List of equipment and vehicles to be used in connection with the project
Sizes, weight and composition of props and machinery to be used
This information and a synopsis of the script must be submitted to NOCS for review at least 30 days before filming.
Photography and filming will be allowed in the sole discretion of NOCS and in any event only during times that are least likely to be disruptive to normal business processes. No mention is to be made of, or recognition given to, NOCS (New Orleans Cold Storage) unless specifically authorized.
Site Inspection - Requested filming locations must be inspected with a representative of NOCS before and after filming. Insurance - Parties filming on NOCS properties must maintain and provide evidence of adequate insurance coverage. A certificate of insurance must be provided, naming NOCS, its board of directors and owners as well as representatives and agents as additional insureds.
